RORE s.a.s. was founded in 1981, with following productions, mainly (but not exclusively) oriented toward automotive sector:
Metal sheet punching.
Cotton oil filters building.
During following years, as a natural evolution of previous activities, we added double-filtration cotton-and-paper oil filters production.
Furthermore, due to technology and market evolution, in 1997 RORE launched into development of new ecological oil filters, which normal production started in early 1998. In such a framework, in order to better manage all of these activities, metal mesh production have been separated from filters production (even thou some contact points were kept, for clear reasons of resources optimization), by creating a new business, named FIRE S.r.l., that is still beside RORE s.a.s. and shares management with it. Thanks to this activities separation, RORE was able to highly concentrate human and financial resources on range extension of ecological oil filters, arriving, during last four years, until to sales for about 2.9 ÷ 3.0 millions of Euros per year, employing a total amount of 27 people. During this period, research activity of RORE, besides focusing on filters range extension, turned also on possibility to build spin-on filters not by using metal, but by using only plastic materials with very high technology, for external tank too.
In these last four years, finally, argued by calls of some important Customers, RORE started development of ecological Diesel fuel filters, using technologies not so far from those already well experienced for ecological oil filters. This research is now growing following two parallel directions, with many shared characteristics: Cartridge ecological Diesel fuel filters: it is now going on a testing of new materials such as bicomponent epoxy resins and special Diesel fuel-resistant hot-melts (developed in close touch and joint work with some main industrial Groups, such as Henkel and Bostik). Ecological Diesel fuel filters, with plastic housing: this development line is the meeting point of the most of RORE's know-how, coming from many productions and research activities of its.
Production of first new filter model (named RED 003, equal to Peugeot 1901.84 - Purflux FCS704) started at the end of September 2006 and during following months we were able to enlarge Diesel filters range with these models:
RED 004 (equal to Renault 8 200 026 237 – Delphi HDF907)
RED 005 (equal to Renault 8 200 186 217 – Delphi HDF915)
RED 006 (equal to Peugeot 1901.67 – Delphi HDF939)
Actually we already achieved some important purchase orders from some Customers of ours. Installed production capability is about 600 Diesel filters per day, during one turn. Anyway, we foretell that in a future it will be possible to increase production.
In order to grant us a proper technical support in plastic moulding field, we concluded a collaboration (and capital sharing) agreement with our main supplier of moulds and polyamide-moulded items.
Actually, our production capability is about 5000 pcs. per day, plant belongs to us and it has a duty surface of about 2500 m2.
